Our Story
As told by Jessica
Jeremy and I met in the 8th grade in Mrs. Ward’s class. We would occasionally walk to class together and we occasionally shared mutual friends but we were mostly oblivious to each other’s presence through middle school and high school. In 2013 we reconnected when Jeremy was selling tickets to a show he was playing in Balboa Park with his best friend. We realized he lived walking distance from my house and we decided to hang out for the first time since high school. Neither of us was interested in being more than friends at first, but after several months we decided that we had a lot in common and decided to date. Long story short, we kind of like each other. Haha
Fast forward to 2021, we have our own place together in North Park with our annoying cat. Jeremy is my very best friend and we’ve really enjoyed building our little life together. We survived the pandemic and we didn’t get sick of each other! We played a lot of board games and watched a lot of scary movies. On the tail end of covid, Jeremy proposed at our spot in Cars Land (In California Adventure) on my birthday. The spot where we’ve spent a lot of our relationship talking about the future, doing some excellent people watching, and eating jalapeño cheese filled pretzels. We got lucky and a Disney photographer captured the entire thing for us!
Since then we’ve been busy planning our Halloween wedding (I know, not a Disney wedding. Shock!) We’re so excited for you all to join us and we’re looking forward to starting this new chapter of our lives together!

Of course! What kind of wedding happens on Halloween with no costumes!?
Are there any covid regulations at your venue?
We will be abiding by whatever the CDCs guidelines are at the time of the event. We encourage you to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable doing so. We’re glad you’ll be joining us on this special day!
Where are you registered?
We realize that we are blessed to have everything that we need so we will not be registering anywhere. Your presence on our special day is gift enough! If you feel that you would still like to give us a gift, please consider donating to our honey fund.
The venue is the community center on the property of a County Park, please be aware that the Park Authority will not allow you to park on the property without current registration tags!!
